Should I get a tattoo? It is such a permanent thing, and I have managed to go 45 years without altering my body so far. Well, except that extra 30 pounds :) I want to get one on my wrist, one that will honor and memorialize Chip. I feel a strong pull to do so.
I have been working with someone lately. Someone I have a great deal of respect for and who has been helping me tremendously. You know how they say when the student is ready the teacher will appear? Well, this has happened for me. All of a sudden I am feeling awake and alive , and feel as if my soul purpose is coming forward and revealing itself to me. I have yearned to discover my soul purpose for so long, and now I feel as if I am finally on the right path.
Something that is important is to uncover and develop my innate spiritual powers, my intuition and my ability to communicate with Spirit and the Universe. We all have these abilities, but as we grow older and become more enmeshed in the physical world, we lose, or close off these wonderful gifts that the Universe has bestowed upon us. I remember as a child that I knew things, saw things, heard things. No one had to teach me about them, they just were. Though my family was not religious and did not belong to a church, I knew instinctively that there was a God, a supreme being. As I grew, I lost these feelings, they were replaced with "the real world", worries about school, work, relationships, etc. Fear caused me to close the door. Well, it's about time to open that door and allow those beautiful gifts to come out and play again.
I need to have a soundtrack for my life. Here are some of the songs in my life soundtrack:
Fields of Gold - Sting
Swimming to the Other Side - Pat Humphries
Home - Phillip Phillips
In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel
How exciting! I am embarking on this wonderful journey and looking forward to learning and growing. The purpose of life is to learn, grow and gain wisdom. And LOVE, always to love.
